Flensberg, March 21

On our way home from Denmark our train was delayed, thus making us miss our connection in Flensberg. BUT, that was perfect because we'd always wanted to see that town anyway.

We only had a few hours to walk around, but it was well worth it. Flensberg did not get bombed badly during the war, so there are still quite a few historical buildings. We walked down to the harbor and stopped for a beer (Flensberg's Pilsner is Britt's very favorite German beer).

Then it was back on the train for the ride home.
