Aarhus, March 19 - 21

Britt and I decided to get a glimpse of Scandinavia, and take the train to Aarhus, Denmark for the weekend. Probably the greatest part of the trip was that the weather has finally become spring-like and we could actually walk around without loosing feeling in our hands.

Aarhus is an old Viking town, with tons of great nautical history. The cool thing about Germany's northern neighbors is they are really NICE and their English is terrific. Germans tend to act a little annoyed when you ask them if they speak English (which, yes, is understandable considering we live in their country), but the Danes don't mind one bit (though Britt is convinced Danish is just English spoken backwards)!

The highlight of our trip was the Aarhus Museum of Modern Art. For a rather small city tucked away in a corner of Denmark, they had an incredible collection of modern art. Did you know Warhol's "Marilyn" paintings are in Aarhus??? I couldn't believe it.

We were also able to catch an American movie, "The Ring 2", which was terrible, but hey, we understood every word. Oh by the way...in the end they all die.
