Easter in Kiel, March 27
Britt and I spent the Easter holiday in a very traditional German way...walking around. I swear, the Deutsche love to go for their afternoon strolls. So, after we loaded up on Easter candy we headed out into the brisk spring day.
We walked to Kiel's botanical gardens, which were quite possibly the most depressing thing you've ever seen. The flowers have not yet begun to bloom, so the entire garden (it was pretty large), was just dirt and little signs saying what SHOULD be there. Now, if you want to see something lush, take a little walk past the botanical garden to the Kieler cemetery. Wow. It was beautiful!
We then walked over to a little park so I could get my swing on.
